The essentials first

This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and no analytics tools and embeds no external services when simply visited. Fonts are served from our own server.

The only exception is a partner's comparison calculator on the loan comparison page. It is only loaded when you open that page and a country with an available partner is selected – no connection to third parties is made on any other page. From that moment on, the partner processes your data under its own responsibility – see section 5.

2. Hosting

This website is operated on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The host processes the data generated when the site is accessed exclusively on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of the website.

3. Server log files

Each time a page is accessed, the server automatically records: the truncated IP address, date and time, the address requested, the status code, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page (if transmitted) as well as browser type and operating system. This data serves exclusively for secure operation and troubleshooting, is not merged with other sources and is deleted after seven days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Local storage in the browser

This website sets no cookies. It stores one item in your browser's local storage (localStorage) if you use the loan comparison page: the country you selected. This item remains on your device, is never transmitted to our server and contains no personal data. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.

5. Partners' comparison calculators

On the loan comparison page, the comparison calculator of the partner named for your country is loaded as soon as a country with an available partner is selected. In the German-language version Germany is preselected; in the other language versions the matching country, provided a partner is available there. No connection to the partner is made on any other page of this website.

When the calculator loads, your browser loads scripts and content from the partner's server. For technical reasons, your IP address, browser information and the page accessed are transmitted to the partner in the process. All information you subsequently enter in the calculator – loan request, personal details, income and employment – goes directly to the partner and is processed by it under its own responsibility in order to obtain loan offers. We do not receive this information.

The respective partner is the controller for this processing. Company name, registered office and a link to their privacy notice are displayed on the loan comparison page directly next to the selected country. Currently, for Germany this is FFG FINANZCHECK Finanzportale GmbH, Admiralitätstraße 60, 20459 Hamburg.

The legal basis for loading the module is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide you with the loan comparison – the purpose of this page – without delay; the technical data transmitted is limited to what is necessary for display. If you do not want this, do not open the loan comparison page or use the comparison directly on the partner's website.

For the settlement of our fee, the partner merely informs us that a contact was made via beauty.credit – without names and without any details about you or your loan.

6. Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) (legitimate interest in responding). The data is deleted as soon as the enquiry has been dealt with and no retention obligations stand in the way.

7. Links to third-party websites

This website links to external services, in particular to the websites of the labelled partners. A link is only accessed when you click on it; from then on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

8. Recipients and transfers to third countries

We pass on personal data only to the named host as a processor. The controller is a company with its registered office in Switzerland; an adequacy decision of the European Commission exists for Switzerland, meaning that a level of data protection equivalent to European law is recognised. For processing by the partners, their own information applies.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21) and withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). To exercise these rights, please contact info@operix.ch. Independently of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the authority of your habitual residence.

For persons in Switzerland, the corresponding rights under the Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG) apply.

10. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place on this website. The creditworthiness assessment in the context of a loan application is carried out by the partner or the bank according to their rules; they will inform you about this themselves.

11. Changes

We will amend this policy as soon as the technical implementation of the website, the partners or the legal requirements change. The version published here at any given time is authoritative.
